Voter Registration & Voting
Voter registration allows qualified voters to participate in the electoral process and exercise one of their most basic rights. Voter Registration drives occur at the beginning of each semester to provide students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to register to vote in the state of Illinois.
SIUE serves as an Early Voting location. Early Voting is only open to registered Madison County, IL residents and proof of residency is required. Those wishing to vote will receive the ballot for their precinct. Early Voting will be November 2-4 in the MUC Willow Room from 12:00 pm- 5:00 pm.
SIUE also serves as a Polling Place and is located in Precinct 21. Only those registered to vote in Precinct 21 for Edwardsville/Glen Carbon are able to vote at SIUE, in the Meridian Ballroom (MUC) from 6am-7pm on Election Days.
